The Weigh Better  project  is a non-profit project  between us ,  the Public Health Service  and Stoke Medical Centre.  In 2014 SomeBody Weigh Better won a Community Excellence Award from Fitness New Zealand for this fairly intensive programme which combines exercise and education around nutrition, self awareness & social well-being.  We meet twice a week for 30 minutes of group fitness and then a further hour of education.

**We are currently seeking one Student Trainer for the Spring 2017 Weigh Better Project – starting late July/early August.  The course requirements are to attend and participate in 2 sessions a week over the period of 10 weeks in Nelson.  You will be learning as you go, and have regular supervision by Cher Hunter the founder of the Weigh Better Project. You must be a REPS registered PT to apply.  Course cost is $999, you will receive 20 CPD’s upon completion of the course.
